Celebrating Teaching Excellence in Health & PE
SHAPE America’s Teacher of the Year program honors exceptional health and physical education teachers from each of the organization’s five districts: Central, Eastern, Midwest, Southern, and Western. District Teachers of the Year are chosen from applicants who have previously been recognized as Teacher of the Year by their state affiliate.

They will recognize all of the district winners during the Closing General Session at #SHAPEKC, which is where they will also make the live announcement of our National Teachers of the Year. This is always a major highlight at the conventions!
