Updated and New Food and Nutrition Security Profiles for States and Territories
National Association for Chronic Disease Director’s (NACDD’s) Center for Advancing Healthy Communities has updated the Food and Nutrition Security Profiles for States and Territories based on feedback from states and territories as well as lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Profiles were initially developed in 2021 in partnership with Feeding America and CDC’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity. Although not exhaustive, the Profiles highlight the collaborative opportunities and efforts within each state to help advance food and nutrition security programs, policies, practices, and infrastructure. The Profiles serve as a companion to the National Food and Nutrition Security Profile and will be reviewed and updated biennially, as needed.
